The facilities at Wheatvale State School are well maintained and boast a recently refurbished administration area, three spacious double teaching areas with state of the art technology including interactive white boards, desk tops, laptops, mobile devices and data projectors. ‘Peperina place’ is the well equipped resource centre complete with extensive library books, an interactive whiteboard and cooking facilities.
The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped with ample grassed areas. Wheatvale State School also houses a full sized tennis court, cricket nets, an oval with a 400 metre running circuit, a large covered open walled hall with storage, three play areas with outdoor climbing equipment designed to cater for the needs of preps, middle school and seniors. There is also a large shaded sand pit and two concrete based covered areas for 'Sun Safe' play.
