Wheatvale State School is located in the Darling Downs South West Education Region. It is situated on the Condamine River approximately 20km West of Warwick. Wheatvale State School was established in 1908.
The school services the districts of Wheatvale, Leslie, Cunningham, Greymare, Bony Mountain, Pratten and surrounding areas.
Our families are from both semi-urban and rural homes. Rural properties are involved in the production of cattle, sheep, horses and small crops. The community has a history closely linked with the school with several generations of the same family having been educated at this facility.
Our school motto 'Strive with Pride' represents our school ethos with the word 'PRIDE' identifying our core values being:
Prepared
Respectful
Independent
Dedicated
Encouraging.
